This page explains what data carbackground.tools collects when you use the car background changer and what we do with it. It is a plain-language summary and may be updated as the service evolves.
What we collect
- Photos you upload. Used only to produce the edited versions you ordered.
- Your email address. Used to send your finished photos and your receipt.
- Payment information. Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data. Standard server logs such as IP address and request time, kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
We use your data to process your order, deliver the results, provide support and prevent abuse. We do not sell your photos or your email address, and we do not use your photos to advertise to you.
Retention
Original and edited photos are kept only as long as needed to deliver your order and handle support requests, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your photos earlier by writing to us.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers for payments (Stripe), image processing and hosting. They process data only on our behalf and for the purposes described here.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data at any time. Contact us at hello@carbackground.tools.
